The journey of a request

Five steps, from the form to deletion.

  1. You fill in the form

Contact details, financing type, amount, region and target date.

  2. Fillout records the response

The form provider keeps the response on our behalf.

  3. PMECAP forwards the request

It goes to the partner brokerage firm, and to no one else.

  4. A broker contacts you

They identify themselves and provide their written disclosures before acting.

  5. The request is deleted

Once forwarded and followed up, it does not stay with Fillout.

Who does what

What we collect

Through the request form, and only if you fill it in:

  • Name, email and phone number
  • Financing type, requested amount, region and target date
  • The page the request came from and campaign parameters (utm), where present

No document is requested through this form. Do not attach financial statements or identification.

The site collects nothing else: no account, no profile, no advertising tracking.

Why

Three uses, and no other:

  • Forward your request to the partner brokerage firm
  • Allow a broker to contact you
  • Count where requests come from, in volume, without individual profiling

We do not sell your information and we do not rent it.

Who we share it with

Two recipients, no more:

  • The partner mortgage brokerage firm, registered with the AMF, which receives your request
  • Fillout, the form provider, which hosts the responses on our behalf

The firm handles your request under its own obligations to the AMF.

Fillout may store data outside Quebec, under its own security measures.

Transfers outside Québec

Fillout may host responses outside Québec.

Before relying on it, we assessed the privacy risks.

The information receives adequate protection under the provider’s safeguards.

How long

Requests stay with Fillout while they are forwarded and followed up.

They are then deleted. The partner firm keeps its records under its own regulation.

Security

Exchanges with the site and the form are encrypted (HTTPS).

Access to responses is limited to the people who handle requests.

No method is infallible. In the event of an incident, affected people are notified.

Cookies and analytics

The site sets no advertising cookies and uses no individual tracking tool.

Campaign parameters present in the address are forwarded with the request, without profiling.

The embedded form may use technical cookies required for it to work.

Technical logs

Like any site, the host may log the IP address and the page requested.

These logs serve the security and proper operation of the site.

They are kept briefly and are never matched with requests.

Your rights

At any time, you may:

  • Access the information we hold about you
  • Have it corrected if it is inaccurate or incomplete
  • Ask for its deletion
  • Withdraw your consent to its use

To exercise these rights, contact the privacy officer through the form.

We answer within 30 days.

If the answer does not satisfy you, contact the Commission d’accès à l’information.

No automated decisions

No decision about you is made by automated processing.

Your request is read and forwarded without scoring or profiling.

The partner firm reviews it under its own practices.

Privacy incident

Any incident involving your information is recorded in a register.

Where serious harm is possible, the Commission d’accès à l’information is notified.

Affected people are notified without delay.

Minors

The site is intended for businesses and real estate investors.

It is not aimed at minors and does not knowingly collect their information.

Governing law

This policy follows Quebec’s private-sector personal information protection act.

It is interpreted under the laws of Quebec.

Changes

This policy may change. The update date appears at the top of the page.

A significant change is announced on this page before it takes effect.

Security measures

Six measures, simple and verifiable.

  • Encryption

The site and the form are served over HTTPS. Nothing travels in the clear.

  • Restricted access

Only the people who handle requests can see the responses.

  • No local copies

Responses are neither downloaded to nor kept on workstations.

  • Deletion

A request that was forwarded and followed up is deleted from Fillout.

  • Incident log

Every incident is logged, assessed and, where required, reported.

  • No database

The site is static. It stores no information itself.

Before you send

A few habits to share only what matters.

  • Do not enter a social insurance number or an account number.
  • Do not paste financial statements into text fields.
  • An approximate amount and region are enough. The broker will refine with you.
  • Give an email you actually read. The broker will write there.
  • If you write for someone else, make sure they agree.

Recognizing the broker who contacts you

After you send, only the partner firm contacts you. Check these points.

  • They introduce themselves by name and name their firm.
  • They give you their written disclosures before acting.
  • They never ask for a password or a code received by message.
  • No payment is requested for simply forwarding your request.
  • If in doubt, write to us through the form before replying.

Common situations

What happens, concretely.

I sent something by mistake.
Write to us through the form. It is removed from Fillout and the firm is told.
I changed my mind after sending.
Withdraw your consent. The request is deleted and follow-up stops.
The broker contacted me about something else.
That is not intended. Report it through the form and we pass it to the firm.
Someone used my name on the form.
Tell us. The request is withdrawn and no transfer is kept.
I want a copy of what you hold.
Request access. You receive a copy within 30 days.

What we never do

  • Sell or rent your information
  • Build an advertising profile about you
  • Make an automated decision on your request
  • Ask for sensitive information through the form
  • Contact you about anything other than your request
  • Keep a withdrawn request
  • Train an artificial intelligence tool with your information
  • Add a recipient to your request without telling you
